Katherine Shenaman Interiors' specializes in high-end interior design, with an emphasis on the fine and decorative arts. With a design philosophy rooted in classicism, Ms. Shenaman often offers a contemporary twist on the traditional. Locally, she's known for delivering a Palm Beach look – without the cliché. Each project is unique, as both the needs of her clients and the architecture of the space are taken into consideration. The end result is a seamless integration of the multiple design elements required to meet the complex demands of today's lifestyle.
 
With more than a decade of design experience, Ms. Shenaman's portfolio includes work such as elegant Palm Beach estates and charming retreats, to stately pre-war apartments and edgy downtown lofts in Manhattan. She has also worked in the Bahamas, the Hamptons and London. Her passion for and knowledge of historic restorations adds an extra dimension to her resume. 
 
Before opening her offices in 2005, Ms. Shenaman studied at the University of Buckingham where she earned her MA in British and French Decorative Arts and Historic Interiors. While abroad, she studied in Paris and London for a number of years, notably at the Wallace Collection. Now based in Palm Beach, Ms. Shenaman contributes her services to nonprofit organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, the Greater Palm Beach Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, and Hearts and Hope Incorporated.
